Online Creative Week

According to MSN, 23-27 January is Online Creative Week, which according to the official site, “is the definitive industry exhibition of 2006 celebrating online creativity in the UK”.

Nice to see MSN making a great effort to promote this event with some brilliant creative themselves:

Nothing says creativity like a poorly constructed image which has been badly optimized. It looks like the sort of thing I’d come up with.

    HAHA!

When have Micro$oft ever been at the forefront of creative design though? These are the guys that have overused dropshadows and gradients for the last 10 years.

It’s good to see them backing the event but they are hardly going to be the ideal “sponsor” for it.
