The Breakestra Live Download

Fan of funk?

Los Angeles’ The Breakestra keep it alive by covering old funk records for the hip-hop generation. I stumbled across a 75 minute live show from Leeds in May 2003, available to download here [MP3, 83MB].

The Breakestra website seems to have been down for quite a while, so the download will be unavailable now. I’ll keep an eye on this and see if the site ever comes back up. If you’d like more information, please get in touch with me.
