Q’s Top 100 Gigs
Q Magazine recently published the results of a vote of a readers pole for the greatest music gigs of all time. Fortunatley, I am glad to say that I was at one of those that made it into the top 3.
Coldplay at V2003 was voted as the 3rd best gig of ALL TIME.
Now, happy as I am that I should be in the crowd at such a monumentous event, I think this highlights just how flawed these sort of polls are. True, it probably was my favourite gig of all time (not spoiled, in fact probably improved, by the fact that by the time Coldplay made it to the stage, I had managed to lose all of my friends in a crowd of 40,000 (?) people).
